The Peace Frog Story
In the words of one of our customers, “Peace Frogs is not icons or products, but really a state of mind.” We couldn’t have said it better ourselves. Peace Frogs is a full line of clothing, designed to help promote positive and optimistic thinking throughout the world. Our clothing places a premium on comfort, quality, and style, but it also allows you to spread a little bit of a positive feeling every time you wear it.
Peace Frogs was originally the name chosen for a line of multi-colored international flag shorts. The frog is internationally recognized as an icon of peace and good luck and was thus deemed as an appropriate logo.
The frog eventually proved so popular that the focus was shifted from the flags to the frog. As time went on Peace Frogs expanded into t-shirts, sweatshirts, boxers, hats, and a variety of accessories. The frog’s combination of positive energy, whimsical attitude, and peaceful outlook has proven universal and enduring. Over twenty-five years since its conception, Peace Frogs is still growing and now found nationally in major department stores and theme parks, as well as our own Peace Frogs stores and kiosks, mail order catalogs, and websites.
Part of the Peace Frogs mindset is an awareness of our endangered environmental resources. A percentage of all sales goes toward funding research into the causes of the declining amphibian population around the world. in 1996 Peace Frogs established an amphibian research fellowship with the Organization of Tropical Studies, a nonprofit group of 55 universities and research institutions in the U.S. and Latin America dedicated to studying the biology of the tropics.
In 2001 Peace Frogs joined with the PARC, Partners in Amphibian and Reptile Species. The immediate goal is to save the small seasonal wetlands which form the natural habitat for these creatures.
Peace Frogs does not represent any form of activism; rather, we are aware that now, perhaps more than ever, our entire planet needs some positively peaceful feelings. We care about the environment, but we care about people too. Customers are always telling us stories about what Peace Frogs means to them: its more than just a piece of clothing, it’s an icon of hope and happiness.

Any chance of getting a frog collard shirt. I am a middle school teacher and have had peace frogs since the late 80’s. Have on truck and earings and stickers on my door at school. My kids know all about them. But can’t wear t-shirts to work. Dress code thing….

I love when on occasion I see people sporting the peace frog brand (especially on their cars) and even when I believe I actually saw it in a store, I was kinda shocked. I live in Texas. But it was cool! I love what the peace and the frog represent beyond my hippie side just to my love of frogs and the essence of obtaining true peace.
Do any of your sweatshirts have the embroidered frog instead of just the screenprinted frog?
woundering if you will get more scrub tops and if the pegiun one will come back with bigger size

Erie country fair ..is where I meet Sam doing a great job. I first brought a car sticker… After talking with him I like what Peace Frogs is doing and the quality and comfort … I came back with my teenage grandaughter and she love the clothes, so we brought a ton .. School is starting soon .. peace always loVe
I purchased some stickers for my vehicle at Auto Zone and loved them so much I now have one tattooed on my foot and I receive so many complements for it! Keep up the great positive attitude!!
Travelled from NYC to Gloucester with my band, Big Stupid Guitars, and a couple of other NY bands, in the late 1990s to do a benefit gig for Peacefrogs. Took 17 hours because of heavy snow and arrived to find the show had been cancelled! Anyway, we were put up in a hotel, treated very well and did a makeshift gig tO a small, but receptive crowd the next day at about noon, slightly hungover. Logistically it was a disaster, but great fun all the same. Some ten years later, a cd arrived in the post in England. Apparently the sound engineer had traced us on the internet and sent a live recording of the show. lovely place, nice people and a good cause.

I purchased a couple of peace frog shirts several years ago (possibly 10 years ago) to wear to face painting events. The shirts are still in use after all these years and has not faded in color. I do have a tiny hole that just appeared, but I still wear it because I love it so. I recently ordered several more designs and get a lot of compliments from everyone. I love the shirts.:)
i found an old tye died PF shirt at a thrift store, I liked the design so much I enlarged it and painted it on the hood of my truck.
Several years ago, I found two Peace Frog items, a few months apart, at two different thrift stores. One is a gray sweatshirt with the multi-colored PF embroidered on the front (smaller) and back (large). The other is a white tee shirt, with the same, but printed rather than embroidered. They, along with my denim hat with sunflower attached, have become things people use to identify me from a distance! Of course, the shirts are also very much a part of my collection of frogs as well. Sadly, the sweatshirt is starting to fray at the cuffs. Eventually I will cut out the embroidered PFs and stitch them onto a new sweatshirt.
I still have my original peace frog shirt from the early 90’s. Even with all the stains it’s acquired I refuse to throw it out. I was looking for a new figurine and noticed you had all the military branches except the Coast Guard… Any plans on making a Costie/Guardian Peace Frog???
I was at a church rummage sale yesterday and I saw a T shirt. Cool frog on front and cool design on back. I didn’t know what the deal was with this peace frog thing, but I bought the shirt because jctoad needs a frog shirt (toad shirts are hard to find). So now I google and find this site. I will wear the shirt proudly
